I have been the Eagle Crest Elementary school counselor since 2010 and I truly love coming to work every day. I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of the Eagle Crest community on a full time basis and look forward to all the great things to come during the school year. I moved to Colorado from Ohio in 2004 after completing my graduate degree in school counseling from the University of Toledo. Prior to this move, I had taught 8th grade special education for five years. I earned my undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University in special education with a focus on specific learning disabilities and behavior. I met my husband when we both were working at Longs Peak Middle School. I taught special education for a couple of years at this school and also worked as the counselor for three years. We have a son named Tristan who brings a lot of joy to our lives!  My favorite things to do to "Sharpen the Saw" are knit items for friends and family while watching football.
