Hi, my name is Karie Cooper.  I am so excited to teach fourth grade again!

Here is a bit about my education and teaching background.  I have a bachelor's degree in child psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  My elementary teaching degree is from Denver University, and I have a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University.  I have been teaching for 29 years in second, third, and fourth grades. Teaching is my true passion, and my students bring endless joy to me every single day.

On a personal note, I am married to Bill Cooper, and have been for 31 years.  I have two children, Rachel(27) and Ryan(21). Rachel is an OR nurse in Portland, Oregon, and Ryan is attending CU Denver earning a degree in the College of Arts and Media!  We are officially empty nesters!!  My hobbies include playing with my family, hiking, reading, travelling, and exploring.  I am ready for my tenth year at Eagle Crest Elementary!
